Ok, so I have a rookie Manager question if you have to pay a one time TEAM fee of 895.00 to the city or what ever organization how is the best way to make
sure you as a manager don't get screwed? Working with finaincial matters I have heard some say you have to get a TEAM bank account seperate from your own
as not to get in a co-mingled funds trouble with IRS or who ever else might like to be sue happy these days.
It seems like one might have to do this and then deposit each p;ayers check early as to make sure you have the guys who actaully will pay so you don't get caught paying for the dirt bag that never wants to contribute money becasue he's just that good.....lol. I am sure you all have been stiffed on cash once before and as stated by someone else it's harder and harder to get full sponsorships.
Any recomendations on best approach to this new delima. I am sure this is another reason the city wanted full lump sum payments. they got tired of guys writing bad checks and taking payments from individuals on the last day of the season etc...So now it becomes another fun part of Managers to deal with.
