We have a squad going out. I am sure it will be a battle for second place again. Seems Main St. is still being allowed to beat every "E" team that
comes out to Prairie. Would sure be nice to see them play up to there level some day. Guess the powers that be are going to let them continue playing as an
"E" team. They haven't lost a game all year...gee wonder why?

I think last weekend was opened up to an open tourney with two brackets upper and lower since other tourneys around were cancelled. It was a fun tourney
though. If you want first place I guess it means that you are going to have to learn to battle that much harder. Main St. was not the only D team out there in
case you did not notice. If you noticed they had a fill in on second that everyone thought retired filling in at the end on Saturday and not their full quad.
We all should like playing other teams because it called competition. For most that play E ball it is competition. For others that play B,C, Or D+ and fill in
on an E team to make an E tourney Squad because you had no other tourney to play at locally it may not seem like competition but that is where a lot of teams
start before they make the Jump to the D level. And when it is early in the year some teams do get bumped to D after smashing the competition time will show.
Sponsors and money keeps a lot of teams playing at lower levels to. Since it is getting harder and harder to get sponsorships with the cost to play continually
going up. Most importantly Hit some Balls Drink some beer and have some fun!!
Back to the Topic.. Anyone playing this weekend??

I am not sure what your point there was. The only other "D" team out there was Garon and Main St. spanked them. Locked-On could be a "D" team when they have all there pick ups, but without they are just an "E" team. I don't know any other teams out there that would rate any higher than that. Meth Lab is only a "E" squad this year. I don't know who you are referring to at second base, for awhile Grant played there on Sunday though. |

Congratulations to Locked-On/Slash A-1 Blue. They doubled dipped Brokers to win the tourney for those that wanted to know. Great playing against everyone
this weekend. Sorry to the boys with Militia for having some many players not there, would have been nice to see you guys at full strength for our re-match.
