Six "C" teams in the top 6. Amazing. If you go down 3 more spots, you will see 3 more C teams. (Whoops, Mt Hood may be a D team)
For the C-Tek/Cheerleaders comment, losing to A-1 in the losers bracket is nothing to be ashamed of. They were one of at least 3 D teams to have both their losses go to C teams. Lots of good teams.

Does Doerflinger still have that guy on the mound that can't stand still to save his life? That guy always knew how to make a game intersting.
It looks like this pretty much ended up like it should have. Nice job Mt. Hood getting yourself in the top 5. Now that it's over, if you could would the guys that played in this thing go back and bracket it differently? Just curious. |

I'll admit the gap between C and D teams was larger than I expected. Doerflinger still has Earl and he was up to his typical antics.
Local teams I saw: A1/Hara's - As good as advertised VUSA - They'll end up winning an NIT before the season is over Mt. Hood - Keep them at D and they'll place at nationals IRG/ Fast Cash - Put up 43 in one game. Screwed by the umps against MJB or they would have placed higher. Outlaws - Let them play E! Intergrated - I really thought this team would have placed alot higher, but they didn't hit like they are capable of. |

Wait a second... I don't agree. I still play on a C team and we went 1-2. We were beaten by 2 Dteams. Knocked out on Saturday before 7pm... The point was
that D teams can, in fact compete against C teams and that's exactly what happened.
I felt the recycling was a bit awkward, but may have really helped some of the other teams. Did any of the teams that finished in the top 6 recycle back through? |

Mt. Hood beats A-1 on Saturday, then lays down to them on Sunday and gets beat 30-0 with 3 guys stiking out swinging...This is starting to begin a trend

Take it as what you want. I still think the brackets being combined had little affect on the outcome. The best C team won and the best D team won. If the
brackets were seperated the same two teams would have won there divisions 9 out of 10 times. Mt. Hood laying down was a joke.

Seemed like it. Loser go home game, who would you pitch Tony Ogles or Sean Reynolds? Mt. Hood choose Reynolds...and then struck out three times on purpose to end the 3rd. Maybe they were trying but sure didn't look like it. |

How coincidental that both teams faced A-1 for these so-called lay-downs. Is there cash exchanged or is it the fear? Disclaimer again: Wasn't there to witness the Mt Hood/A-1 game so it has to be true for guys to put it on this board.

Unless you know shut your hole. To all the conspiracy theorist, the short story is family conflict, injuries,
and cash is the real answer. The TD would not let us forfeit the game so this is the result you get. Hope this puts it all to bed. But, I will be accepting
apologies in the form of cash and thank you for diminishing our win in the first game by implying that we would just roll over for the fear of being
bumped. As you can see we faired pretty well against the C's. Not really
scared of anyone.
