The NSA event in Tri-Cities for May 31-June 1 was removed from the XPC schedule. In its place is now the City of Roses ASA C/D event at Delta Park in
Portland, OR.

An updated XPC schedule will be loaded on the XPC website soon. This is the only change as of now.

Why do these different associations keep scheduling big tourneys on the same weekend??? I know that there are teams that are signed up in Salem that would want
to get into the Delta tourney to get their berth but also want to get their birth for Utrip as well....that's one reason we cant get more than 20 teams at
one tourney...I don't get it

Your throwing a tournament at Delta the same weekend as the Usssa NIT in Salem? Just wondering how this is good for Oregon
softball? At best you will pull a few loyal ASA teams to Delta to play in a 5-6 team event, when the real competition is in Salem. I get the fact that your
giving away ASA berths like candy because Seattle is so close this year, I GET IT....... But throwing a tournament last minute and possibly steal teams away
from great competition wich includes Washington and Idaho teams is not good for Oregon softball.

The City of Roses was already scheduled and has been since Delta released its schedule several weeks ago. A new event was not added. The only change is it has
been added to the XPC list, which already had a tournament scheduled on this weekend.
Only a team's best five regular season finishes PLUS points earned at the championship count towards their final point total. Teams missing this single XPC event have several opportunities to earn their points. I fully support the best possible schedule of events being available to the teams of this Region...but I also need to be sure that teams who had already planned to play XPC on May 31-June 1 have the opportunity to do so. Perhaps next season, Oregon USSSA will join up with the XPC and make the series even better.

When we do our schedules for Prairie or Vancouver, we look at the past year's schedule from other associations, even other ASA associations (like
Portland-Metro). We schedule with every attempt to not conflict with other events at the same classification. It is difficult to work a schedule around USSSA
of Oregon when they do not have a consistent schedule from year-to-year...I am 100% sure their schedule was not even out when we did our Prairie and Vancouver
schedules. Perhaps the Delta Park schedule, showing the City of Roses Men's C/D event, was out when USSSA of Oregon created their schedule???

PMSA makes their tourny schedule in Jan. every year. We have had tournys on the first two weekends of June for as long as I can remember. We changed our tourny
from the 7-8th to May 31-1 due to conflicts we heard about in Jan. We always look to schedule around NITs, ect if at all possible. Like JH said most of PMSA,
Van., and Prairie tournys have been the same fro years.

JH44 How do we run one of these tournaments... The one in Redmond for this weekend wasn't advertised at all except for the basement of the ASA website.
Let I or Moon or someone run this to promote it. Is this going to happen next year?
