Wallace Marine Park will be pretty full this upcoming weekend . We do have a few spots left, so if you want in you need to sign up soon.
Women's USSSA Northwest NIT--12 teams SSUA Re-Invite/Magoo's Slugfest--Men's 'D' approx 10 teams (Saturday & top 4-6 teams coming back on Sunday). This is the tournament for $150 that the Salem Softball Umpires Assn. puts on in early season. Since it was rained/snowed out, we offered it again to the same teams at the same price. Teams not previously entered in the SSUA Invite in April can get in for only $200. It's a 3GG bracket, the kind where you can lose your first 2 games and still come all the way back. Teams entered: Alibi Bar & Grill Buffalo Wild Wings Johnny's Bar and Grill Portland Warriors Propaganda Ruff Riders Salem Concrete The Unit Taylor's Carpet Touch 'Em All Twist One Sunday only-Men's 'E' 3GG $200 Approx 4-6 teams Sunday only-Coed 'D' 3GG $150 Approx 4-6 teams Sunday--Women's NIT finishes up with championship game at 1pm All games will be played at Wallace Marine Park. The D division of the NIT is Saturday only with the championship game at 7pm. The Open Division (A/B/C) is both Sat & Sunday.
I believe the coed is Sunday only. |

We tried to do a bracket for this weekend, but due to the lack of fields with the women's NIT in town, we are going to shorten the gaps between games so
teams are not having to wait as many as 5 hours to play another game. So, pool play on Saturday with each team playing 2 games. No teams have to wait more
than 2 rounds to play again. Teams are re-seeded based on Saturdays play and will play in either the Gold, Silver, or Bronze bracket on Sunday morning. This
is now a 4 game tourney and teams will have 4 different opponents. Coaches have game times...see you on Saturday. Good luck to all the teams!
