RipIt69 -- please tell me a 2008 team, playing D in ASA, with 4 or more players from teams that won 2 or more games at C Western Nationals in Portland last Fall. I would like to know so I can be sure a correction is made.

BTW - I actually agree with your sentiment about teams possibly coming out for more tournaments if they could be sure they would be playing teams of the same talent level.

I can think of 3 different teams that won at least two games in that tourney that are local. It's a point not worth discussing since the powers that be will never do anything to enforce real divisions around here. I think we would have a lot more players coming out for tournaments if they knew they were playing people on the same talent level is the whole point though.

You may find this interesting reading. The rules seem to state that the board around here doesn't know what the hell there doing. I am all for NW teams being competitive nationally, but we have teams classified completely wrong according to ASA guidelines. It would be interesting to see how many more tourneys and teams we could have if...

There is a division above E, so If u are whooping up on LOCAL E teams, maybe you you are a D team.

There is a division BELOW 'E' that is called 'REC'. If 'E' is too difficult, you may want to start at 'REC'. No need to keep whining about it. Getting TIRED.

I get that, but you have to get a birth right? How do we rank teams and players then? Why can't we ever have real "E" tourneys, or even "D" tourneys then? If there were any real divisions I think you would see more teams playing tournaments.

There were a lot of non-C teams from this Region that participated at C Nationals in Portland last year. Basically, just because you competed at C Nationals, it does not mean you are a C team.

There were a handful of 'D' teams, and a couple of 'E' teams that played up at 'C' natties. They giving berths out like . How does that make them a 'C' team?

They classify players, not teams. There were 8 people playing on Main St. on Sunday that were on a "C" national roster last year. That is not a "E" team or even a "D" team.

O.K maybe not a "C" team but they do have more than there fare share of "C" players on the team. Not sure of the exact amount but i know some of them played on teams last year that played at C nats.

I am not one to rag on someone's opinion or anything but are you referring to MainST as a "C" team? If so I think you are a bit off. Again this is just my opinion, but MainSt is far from a "C" team (especially nationally) I think they would do ok in a "D" qualifier and that is where they would belong. Overall I was actually pretty impressed with how most of the teams at prairie being pretty even. Again in my humble opinion I think MainST and Militia...

Yeah, that was a fun game even though I don't think we scored 14 runs between the two teams. Great job on Sunday militia too bad you had to play a "c" team in the last game. Look forward to seeing you guys at the next one.
